Mission: Wolf
Dates: July 27–31, 2026 (Week 8)
(Students depart Monday and return Friday)
Grades: Entering Grades 6–8
Program Description:
Located in Southern Colorado at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Mission: Wolf is a one-of-a-kind sanctuary home to over 40 wolves born into captivity. Once abundant across Colorado, wild wolves are now rare, with fewer than 4,000 remaining in the lower 48 states.
This immersive experience combines low-impact camping with hands-on learning, including teamwork and communication challenges, survival and animal-tracking skills, and meaningful Action Projects that support the care of the wolves and their habitat. Students will gain a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation while building confidence and outdoor skills.
