Dolores River

River Description:

The Dolores is one of America's great wilderness rivers. Running the Dolores is like taking a step back in time as you encounter miles without any modern reminders. You can even explore an ancient Anasazi Indian ruin as you meander through brilliant orange cliffs and gigantic Ponderosa Pines. The Dolores can only be floated during peak run-offs, and the season ends in June.
